About Us

Embryo Adoption Services of Cedar Park is a non-profit, Christ centered, ministry of Cedar Park Church. We believe that life begins at conception, and that every embryo is worthy of a loving family. Our focus is to unite genetic families that have remaining embryos from previous IVF treatments, with adopting families, for the purposes of providing a loving, nurturing environment for the child, and bringing the endless joy of parenthood to those that embrace these little ones.

Our Cedar Park program in designed to make embryo adoption both affordable, accessible, at the same time providing a venue for both the genetic family and the adopting family to have the advantage of choosing the kind of contact they will have with each other. Some families may want an "open" model; while some families may want to reserve contact though Cedar Park. We will work to provide the parameters that each family is most comfortable with. Counseling is available and encouraged to determine what would be the best for your family.

The Lancaster Family

Jeff and Maria

The Lancaster family is the first family, in Washington State, to do an embryo adoption. As a couple they struggled with infertility for a number of years, having experienced the pain of several miscarriages. They heard about embryo adoption, while listening to Dr. James Dobson interview a woman on the radio, that adopted another couple’s remaining frozen embryos from fertility treatments. She had a baby girl! Jeff and Maria contacted the same agency, Nightlight Christian Adoptions. Through a miracle, and gift of embryo adoption, they are now the proud parents of Elisha Ramiah. She is a reminder that life begins at conception. Now the Lancaster’s desire is to bring hope to families struggling with infertility, and to offer a solution, and peace of mind, to those that have remaining embryos in the freezer.

Maria Lancaster serves as Executive Director of Embryo Adoption Services of Cedar Park. Maria holds a Bachelor’s degree in Christian Ministry. She also served as NW Regional Representative for the Embryo Adoption Awareness Campaign in 2006, a granted funded by the Bush Administration to promote awareness of embryo adoption. She is also founder and President of Galley Resources, Inc., a ship supply company, serving the Alaskan fishing fleet with groceries and supplies for over 20 years. Her personal story, business experience, and educational background are an asset to our new program, Embryo Adoption Services of Cedar Park. She looks forward to serving you, and the yet to be born children, as a result of this exciting program.

Cedar Park Church

We often call Cedar Park a cathedral church, because it follows the classic model that has served so well for hundreds of years.

The main campus is in Bothell, with a sanctuary, schools, and other ministries. Throughout the surrounding area there are branch churches, schools, and ministries.

You might think of us as a tree - one big trunk rooted in Christ with many branches.

The organizational structure provides the strength and stability of a large church, with the personal attention and fellowship of a smaller assembly.

Our goal is to provide a place where you can meet God and other believers and grow in your fellowship with both.

Embryo Adoption Services of Cedar Park is one of many ministries that serve as an out reach extension, to serve others, our community, as well as families in other parts of the country. We look forward to serving you, and hope you become part of our extended family as a result.
